Leadership Tomorrow (Seattle)

Each year, a diverse cohort of 80 leaders from the private, nonprofit, and public sectors participate in our 10-month Flagship Program. Together they cultivate a deeper understanding of interconnected regional issues, develop and practice strategies and tools to become more effective leaders, and expand their personal and professional networks by working collaboratively. The program offers participants opportunities to analyze the history and current impacts of racism within Puget Sound and engage in projects that advance racial equity and thriving communities across the region.

Leadership Louisville Center

The Bingham Fellows program annually brings together about 45 experienced Louisville leaders to address one of the region’s most critical issues. Recently these topics have included building talent pathways & pipelines, moving Downtown forward, and building a culture of inclusivity.

A diverse class of participants is selected following a competitive application process to ensure the class includes content experts and unique voices representing all parts of the community. The cohort meets with topic experts and local stakeholders and experience a practicum in change management and group dynamics. As their program year progresses, they form project teams to take action and create positive social change.

Leadership Greater Washington

A series of immersive DMV Bridge Journeys to reveal the racial history of our region through the lens of landmark visits, powerful speakers, and personal reflection. This isn’t simply a history lesson, but an opportunity to use revelations about our history to inform and recalibrate attitudes around racial justice and reconciliation. These are action-focused journeys that examine accountabilities and challenge personal change. They are a call for all leaders to confront the realities of racism in our region and in themselves. The Journey will consist of three guided trips to historical landmarks where activists and local historians will provide context and illumination at these sites, and participants will be provided the space to reflect on new learnings and visualize action-centered approaches to racial change.

Leadership Memphis

With over 35,000 participants, Volunteer Memphis builds capacity for effective volunteering and connecting people with opportunities to serve throughout Memphis and Shelby County. The organization helps individuals, families, corporate teams, and community groups strengthen Memphis and the Mid-South through service at more than 300 nonprofit organizations and schools. Our volunteers are at work every day of the year, tutoring and mentoring children, helping individuals and families make pathways out of poverty, improving our Memphis and Shelby County environment, and more. Volunteer Memphis is an affiliate of the Hands-On Network, an association of 250 volunteer service organizations across 16 counties, and an action Initiative of Leadership Memphis.

Cleveland Leadership Center

Campus Cleveland attracts and retains talented college-age students in the region by providing them an expansive view of the region’s resources and immersing them in the local professional and civic arenas. Campus Cleveland highlights Cleveland’s urban core renaissance and gives you an eye-opening view of the city’s vast opportunities for young professionals.

Discover some of the innovative projects and companies helping to re-imagine Cleveland. Learn about local social and civic issues and hear from organizations addressing them, plus engage in hands-on service projects at local community organizations.

Focus St. Louis

Emerging Leaders program offers the opportunity to strengthen personal, professional and civic leadership skills, gain a deeper understanding of the inner workings of the St. Louis region and build connections with a diverse network of peers. Participants leave the program with an increased sense of engagement in the region, as well as the tools to take an active role as the next generation of St. Louis civic and professional leaders. Civic Action Projects (CAP) are a key element of our Emerging Leaders curriculum, providing participants with the opportunity to work directly with community partners to address challenges facing our region and apply the leadership skills they’re developing in the program.

Leadership Tulsa

The Hispanic Leadership Institute (HLI) promotes the individual development of Tulsa-area Hispanics/Latine for increased participation in leadership roles.

Created in partnership with the Tulsa Latin American Chamber of Commerce, HLI offers the opportunity for individuals to develop and expand their knowledge, leadership skills, and connections to take an active role in the community.

HLI also offers participants the opportunity to engage with Tulsa’s foremost business and policy authorities in a continuing dialogue about leadership and the civic sector. Participants will collectively give back to the Tulsa region through a shared community project.

Experience Austin is for anyone wanting to be more engaged and knowledgeable about the people and the issues shaping Greater Austin. Complementing Leadership Austin's programs for established and emerging leaders, this four-week series is open to the public and companies for their new employee orientation.

Experience Austin equips participants to explore community leadership roles by contextualizing the systems impacting the region. A recent participant stated, "As a newer resident of Austin, this was a unique way to get grounded in the history and the issues that impact the local community. Plus, a great opportunity to connect with others who are passionate about not just learning, but getting involved."

Leadership Knoxville

Youth Leadership Knoxville was launched in the summer of 2014 with the intent of giving high school students the opportunity to enhance their knowledge of Knoxville and develop leadership skills that will encourage and inspire them to become involved and committed to our community. A one week summer camp opens the program with monthly sessions held in August through April. Students perform a service project and are also dual enrolled at Pellisssippi State for 3 hours of college credit in HUM Leadership Development.

Students have the opportunity to interact with many of Knoxville's leaders in government, business and community, with the goal of developing their own personal leadership skills to benefit them individually and collectively for their schools and community.
